The Original Toccoa River Experience
In the 1960s, visionary TVC founder Herman Long began inviting passing travelers to unwind on his beautiful acres on the Toccoa River. Back then, it was truck tires for tubes and no public restrooms, but the combination of natural beauty and family welcome still made it all worth while.
Four generations later, Herman’s descendants still run Toccoa Valley Campground the way their grandfather did. Sure, the tubes have been upgraded to our signature pink and our clean and plumbed restroom facilities make our competitors’ porta-Johns look primitive, but, the land remains virtually the same as Herman left it, and Toccoa Valley Campground, already the oldest tubing operation in all of Georgia, continues to make a reasonable claim to being the best as well.
From Long’s family to yours, we invite you to share in the pristine beauty of the Toccoa River as it was always meant to be experienced.
