Our Policies

Like so many others, you are probably visiting Toccoa Valley Campground to unplug, relax, and have fun with friends or family. We want to make sure your goal succeeds, so we ask that you read over our policies and be prepared to follow them. We understand no one likes rules, but we ask for your cooperation in order to ensure that you, your family and friends, and all our guests have the best time possible while they are here. We’ve developed these policies over many years to help maximize a good time for all, so please be familiar with and plan to follow them.

TVC Tubing, Rafting, and Kayaking Policies

  • No alcoholic beverages allowed.
  • No coolers allowed on the river.
  • No aggressive or abusive behavior or language will be tolerated.
  • All river-riders 12 and under are required to wear a life jacket at all times in the river.
  • Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of property.
  • Management reserves the right to enforce all policies for the benefit and safety of all.
  • Visitors who have been asked to leave will not receive a refund.

Camping & RV Policies

  • Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited on all TVC premises and the river.
  • Check out is 12 PM and Check in is 1 PM
  • Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 7 AM
  • Help keep our campground clean by placing garbage in the dumpster located on the left as you exit the campground.
  • RV Sites: one RV per site, one vehicle per site, and no extra tents allowed.
  • Tent Sites: pricing includes one tent per site, an extra tent may be added to each site for an additional $35/day ($30 for non-river sites). No more than two tents per site will be allowed. One vehicle per site.
  • Guests must register at the office before setting up camp. If you arrive on a Sunday or after hours, please check in at your earliest convenience during TVC office hours.
  • No battery-operated vehicles or motor-driven cycles, bikes scooters, or golf carts are to be driven in the campground.
  • Pets are allowed, under these conditions: $3 per pet, per day. No more than 3 pets are allowed. Pets are to be kept on leashes or inside at all times. Do not leave pets unattended. No excessive barking allowed. Pets must be walked by a responsible person to pick up after them immediately. Pets are not allowed in any buildings or restrooms areas.
  • Generators are not permitted.

  • Do not leave items unattended on sites, management is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

  • Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of property.

  • Management reserves the right to enforce all policies for the benefit and safety of all.

  • Campers who have been asked to leave will not receive a refund.

Camping Cancellation Policies

  • $10 – More than 30 days
  • One Night’s Stay – within 30 days
  • One Night’s Stay + 50% of remaining balance – within 7 days
  • No refunds within 48 hours
  • No refunds within 7 days of a holiday

Campfires

  • Fire must be kept in fire rings or charcoal grills only. Do not leave fires unattended.
  • Moving of fire rings is not permitted.
  • Do not cut or damage trees or bamboo canes whether alive, dead, damaged, or down. Firewood is for sale in the office.
  • Firewood may not be brought from out of state.
  • Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
  • Disruptive or abusive behavior or language will not be tolerated.
